Good Morning, and a very Happy New Year! No News this
week, but I wanted to post a meeting announcement to remind you all of our
upcoming Team Meeting:
Team Meeting—Thursday, 10 January 2013, 6-7pm in the
Mira Mesa Senior Center. Our Assistant Team Leader Jennifer Tang, who is
a licensed EMT, will be doing a wound care review. We should have the
Academy training module available, so you don't need any supplies to speak of,
but if you want to try out some of your own stuff by all means bring it
in. Now, I know the Academy training is quite good these days, but I also
know that they really concentrate on the very basics. So I'd sure like to
see a bunch of our newer people there, and as for you Veterans, well, you know
just how often we do this, so please make a special effort to make this
important meeting. Please be on time, and plan to stay a bit late.
Jen has a lot she wants to get through, and it's all good.
I plan to restart the News for this year next Tuesday, 8
January. Those of you who inquired, I'm doing really well thanks, but
this whole recovery process happens exactly as fast as it wants to. I try
to be patient, and do what they tell me to do. It's a challenge.
